The Center for Peace-Building Initiative, Inc. (CPBI) a non profit 501c (3) tax-exempt organization recently launched a new web site to help further its efforts on the internet of awareness for world peace. With their new site capable of press releases through RSS feeds CPBI hopes to increase funding for the following programs: - Research
- Disarmament
- Reconciliation
- Social Services
- Building good governance
- Education
- Poverty
- Environment
The Center promotes awareness of human suffering in conflicts and War-torn societies around the globe; provides forum, resources and guidelines for scholars, policy makers and other interested in preventing conflicts and building a lasting peace around the globe. Overall, the center advocates for human rights and social wellbeing. All donations to the CPBI are tax-deductible. Description: CPBI stands for the unity of all people. It strives to bring about a world that is environmentally safe, free of war, poverty and injustice. We work to create an atmosphere conducive for quality education, adequate social services and good governance. - To conduct impartial, up-to-date and comprehensive scholarly studies of conflicts around the globe.
- To conduct research and provide guidelines intended for the prevention of conflicts.
- To furnish suggestions and recommendations on specific issues facing particular conflict zone.
- To collaborate with other organizations with similar interests and goals in peace-building, education, social services and good governance.
- To encourage forums that address issues of critical importance to a particular situations through conferences, conventions, seminars, etc.
- The association shall provide publications periodically and fundraise through legal venues.
